Looking to try a low impact version of Agility that any dog can play? Hoopers!! Introductory workshops in Nanaimo on Saturday/Sunday March 16th-17th. 3 hour session/$75 limited to 8 teams per session. Instructions for how to make your own hoops provided. All you need to get started at home are 3-4 hoops and a round object like a garbage can. Lots of homework will be suggested to prepare you for the next workshop! (Workshops are FULL - check back for next workshop dates). Weekly classes will also be starting in March! (Nanaimo) leave a comment below if you would like to have a spot in a weekly class.
Online Hoopers classes are now available! AniMotion’s Hoopers online program lays down a thorough and solid foundation of skills necessary for success in trials and higher levels of Hoopers. There will be 4 levels to the program. Level 1 is a prerequisite to Level 2. If you have some Hoopers experience, you can take email for an Assessment Quiz to “skip a grade”. If you want to play Agility and Hoopers with your dog, there are many similarities but also a few areas you want to avoid conflict/confusion. AniMotion’s Hoopers program will steer you and your dog on a path that will let you be brilliant in both!

“Regional Prep 2024 “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!”
This year’s Regional Prep will take place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday May 3rd,4th,5th. We have a couple of spots left for this popular warm up to the AAC BC Yukon Regionals. The event is one day only, offered on 3 separate days. Each event includes 1 Standard, 1 Jumpers and 1 Gamble. Scored as a cumulative total per team. Crowning of Gold, Silver And Bronze top Cumulative scores each day. This is also a coaching day. Feedback and opportunity to run courses/sections a second time for all three runs. Tips and Tricks on how to make Regionals a fun wkd for you and your team mate!
